Starting on June 8th and every 2nd Monday of the month the Public Works department will do road side chipping for 15 minutes free. You must place your brush in the Twp right-of-way and off of your property and call the Township to make an appointment.
 
Also the 2nd Saturday of the month the compost will be open from 8am - 2pm to take branches/brush.
 
The John Pia Zoning Hearing will be on 7/22 at 5:30pm in the Township Building.
 

Reminders

Senator Dinnaman's representative will be in the Township meeting room on the 4th Thursday of the month from 9am-11pm.
 
If you are in need of a smoke detector, please call the Township office at 610-384-7144 to place your order.
 
If you left a set of keys in the Twp. Office the week of 2/9/09 please call 610-384-7144, you will need to describe them in detail to pick them up.
 
When paying by phone, please have your credit card ready!
 
All complaints must be in writing or emailed and have the full address of the location that you are referring to.
 
When paying your trash invoice with cash please have the exact amount.
 
Please place your trash cans and recycling cans out on Thursday night, the trucks come early on Friday morning. The trucks will not stop and wait while residents who do not have their cans out in time go get them.
 
The Township is now taking Discover, MasterCard, VISA and ATM/Debit Cards for payments.

East Fallowfield, PA - During 2007, more than 14,000 people in passenger vehicles died in crashes while unbelted.  About half of these lives could have been saved if they had been wearing seat belts at the time of the crash.  As sad as this statistic is, the numbers are even worse at night than during the day, according to new figures released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

East Fallowfield is gathering information to determine what sewage problems may exist in the Towhship that would affect the current quality and safety of our drinking water.  Please fill out and return this form concerning your water supply and waste water disposal system by June 30, 2009.
 
Ercildoun Town Tour - July 16, 2009

The Fallowfield Historical Society will be the sponsor of the Ercildoun Town Tour, scheduled for Thursday July 16, 2009 at 6:00 p.m. The theme of the tour is “Ercildoun-On the Road to Freedom”. Ercildoun was a major stop on the Underground Railroad, and many of it’s residents were “conductors”, aiding freedom seeking slaves as they sought to escape the scourge of slavery.

For the past 13 years, Chester County citizens and visitors enthusiastically endorsed the assortment of FREE historic evening walking tours that were offered by various municipal Historical Commissions and local Heritage organizations.

The East Fallowfield Township Board of Supervisors will consider for approval at the April 14, 2009, regularly scheduled Work Session an Inter-Municipal Government Agreement between East Fallowfield Township and the County of Chester for the Recovery Act: Justice Administration Grant (JAG) Program Award of $10,106.00.  more information
