There is a temporary burn ban in effect due to dry conditions and high winds. No outdoor fires, including recreational campfires are allowed until further notice.

We no longer take 2013 trash payments at the township building. Please remit your 2013 trash payment to the PO Box noted on the invoice, or click on the icon on the township website to pay your bill electronically via credit card or e-check.

The EFT Planning Commission has permanently changed their meeting and workshop time from 7:30 PM to 6:30 PM.

Reminders

Bulk trash is collected on the first Friday of each month. You may put out 1 bulk item for collection by Allied Waste. If you have a "scrappable" item made of metal, please call the township at 610-384-7144 to have the township Public Works department pick it up. If you have a TV for pickup, you must call the township to schedule pickup, and pay a $25 disposal fee. Allied Waste will not pick up TV's.

Cardboard is recyclable and should be put out with your recycling, not with trash. Due to the limitations of the recycling trucks, it must be no larger than 2 feet by 2 feet. Bundles must be no larger than 12 inches. Please do not tape it together. It should be tied or placed into a paper bag.

Filing for permit applications: You must have the contractor's liability, worker's compensation insurance, and a copy of the Pa. registration submitted with your permit application. If you do not have worker's compensation insurance, a waiver form must be completed and notarized. The waiver must be submitted with the application.

Every 1st Monday of the month, the Public Works department will do 15 minutes of road side chipping for free. You must place your brush in the Twp right-of-way and off of your property and call the Township to make an appointment to have this done.
Also - on the 2nd Saturday of each month the compost site at 2240 Upper Gap Road will be open from 8am - 2pm for residents of East Fallowfield only to dispose of branches and brush.
