How Do I?

Requirements for Permits

Valid insurance information and PA State Registrations must accompany all permit applications or the applications will not be accepted.

Install Water Service Hookup

When installing water service hookup:
1) Contact PA American Water at 1-800-565-7292.
2) Submit a Township Contractors Registration to the Township.
3)  Submit a water service permit abtained from the Township. 

Install an On-site Septic System

When installing a on-site septic system:
1) Contact the Health Dept at 610-344-6526 for all approvals and permits.
2) Submit a Township Contractors Registration to the Township Office.
3) Provide the Township with all Healthe Department permits and Final Inspection report.

Planning Commission Appointment Procedure

       Planning Commission Appointment Procedure – Adoped 2/26/08 at the BOS meeting
  1. Advertise in the Daily Local News for one day.
  2. Advertise on the Township website for two weeks.
  3. The Applicant will be interviewed at the next appropriate meeting.
  4. A decision will be made in 60 days and recommended to the Board of  Supervisors.
  5. The Board will give their approval/recommendation.
  6. If chosen he/she will begin their term at the next meeting.
