What is a “recreational fire?” A recreational fire is an outdoor fire utilized for recreational purposes, such as a campfire.  It must be contained in a fire pit, fire ring, chimenea, outdoor fireplace, or similar device designed or constructed to contain the fire.

Note: You do NOT need a burn permit if you are using a charcoal, smoker, or gas grill for cooking

To submit an application for a burn permit, come to the Township Offices during regular business hours and fill out an application, OR

Drop Box There is a secure, 24-hour drop box located next to the Township Office entrance. The fee for a burn permit is $10.00 and the permit is good for 180 days.
